WOOL BOARD

ELECTION NECESSARY FOR THREE SEATS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 17. Four nominations have been received for the three producers’ seats on the New Zealand Wool Board, which will fall vacant in August, when the election to fill the vacancies will take place at the annual meeting of the electoral committee. The nomin-' ations are: Mr J. Acland, Geraldine, Mr A. Briscoe Moore, Whangarei, Mr G. W. Powdrell, Wairoa, and Mr J. N. A. Samson, Wairau Valley. The Wool Industry Act requires that three producer members of the board shall retire each year, but may offer themselves for re-election if they wish. Messrs Acland, Moore and Powdrell, who are all sitting members of the board, have offered themselves for a further term.
