RATES IN COUNTIES ANNOUNCED
RANGIORA AND ASHEEY Notice was given at the monthly meeting of the Rangiora County Council that the rAte for the current year should be Id in the £ on capital value, the same as last year. The statement of estimated receipts and expenditure showed that receipts were expected to amount to £24.041. necessitating a rate of Id to produce £13.665. making a total of £37.706. The estimated expenditure amounted to £37,502. For the Ashley County Council a rate of i of Id in the £ is required to produce £6,019, in addition to £20,091 available, to meet the estimated expenditure of £26,110.
