WAIRARAPA BEATS POVERTY BAY
(New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE. June 12. The Wairarapa Rugby team beat Poverty Bay at Gisborne yesterday bv 14 point's (two tries, one converted, and two penalties) to 9 (three penalty goals). The match was played in a cold southerly, with rain squalls sweeping the ground.
