South Africa turned a first innings deficit of 47 runs in to a lead of 185 with six wickets in hand at the end of the second day’s play in their game against Lancashire. Lancashire recovered from a poor start through a walloping 77 by the Australian, Ken Grieves, to tdtal 201. Grieves hit 15 fours.
