LECTERN FOR MAORI COLLEGE CHAPEL.—Carved in traditional Maori style at the Canterbury Museum, this lectern will be placed in the chapel of Te Wai Pounamu College. The carving was done by Mr C. Tuarau (left), Maori carving expert from the Dominion Museum, Wellington, who is seep examining his handicraft with Dr. Roger Duff, director of the Canterbury Museum.
