Death Toll Now 115 (Rec. 11.45 p.m.) UDALL (Kansas), May 27. The death toll from the raffinc tornadoes which struck six states rose to 115 today as more bodies were found among the rubble of smashed village of Udall * Altogether more than 700 persons were known to. have been injured by the tornadoes which struck late on Wednesday night. Property damage ran to millions of dollars. Udall had a pre-storm population of 500. Early today, as rescue teAms probed about in the ruins, 1$ bodies were recovered, bringing i;he number of dead in the village to Another 200 villagers • were injuried. Only three business premises are still standing. Other areas heavily hit by the storms were Blackwell, Oklahoma, where 18 died and 500 persons were injured, and Oxford. Kansas, where five died. Other deaths were reported from scattered parts of Oklahoma, Kansaa, Texas and Missouri. Storms slab caused some damage in Arkansas and lowa.
