GLOBEMASTER’S VISIT TO CHRISTCHURCH

PUBLIC INSPECTION ON SUNDAY

Everyone in Christchurch should be able to obtain an excellent view of the giant United States Air Force C. 124 Globemaster before it leaves on Monday. The captain of the aircraft will be asked to make several circuits over the city area-before setting course for Ohakea.

The Globemaster, the biggest military transport aircraft in the world, will arrive at Harewood about midday on Sunday, and will be open for inspection by the public from about 2 pm. until 5 p.m. It is expected to take off for Ohakea about 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. on Monday.
