ONE-DAY HORSE EVENT
The cross-country phase of the one-day event held over two miles and a half of rolling country at Kaiwara, Culverden, provided severe test of horses and riders. Results of the event:— Dressage.—Miss D. Rutherford’s Kim, 86 points, 1; J. H. Grigg’s Persian Dance. 103 J, 2; C. A. Macdonald’s Rahui, 111 A, 3 Show Jumping.—Mrs E. G. O. Rutherford’s Killarney, li faults, 1; J. F. G. Blakely’s Marcus, and D. B. C. Allin’s Andy, 10 (equal) 2; E. G. O. Rutherford's Scarteen, 10J, 4. Cross-country.—Miss D. Rutherford’s Kim, 18, 1; R. Harris’s Boroto, 25, 2; Miss J. Dickson’s Roly. 27, 3. Combined Event.—Miss D. Rutherford’s Kim, 146 J, I*. J- F. G. Blakely’s Marcus. 2095, 2; G. O. Rutherford’s Spike, 236, 3.
