APPOINTMENTS TO MEDICAL STAFF
CHRISTCHURCH BOARD’S INSTITUTIONS
Nineteen staff appointments were made by the North Canterbury Hospital Board yesterday. They are all for three-year terms except one. Dr. E. H. H. Taylor was appointed director of anaesthesia for three or until a full-time director is appointed, whichever is the less. The other appointments were:— Senior surgeons, Messrs D. G. Radcliffe, W. H. Bremner, and J. K. Davidson; assistant surgeon, Mr H. E. H. Denham; senior physicians, Dr. F. O. Bennett, Dr. C. G. Riley, and Dr. J. F. Landreth; pediatrician, Mr S. Hunter: assistant physician, Dr. J. A. K. Cuningham; senior orthopaedic surgeon, Mr R. Blunden: assistant orthopaedic surgeons, Messrs W. A. Liddell and A. B. Mackenzie; assistant gynaecologist, Mr D. MacMillan; senior obstetrician, Dr. A. M. Hartnell; assistant urologist, Mr N. F. Greenslade; ophthalmologist, Mr W. L. Burns; anaesthetists. Dr. J. M. Louisson and Dr. S. C. Peddie.
