CONFERENCE OF ADVENTISTS

OVERSEAS MINISTERS TO SPEAK A three-day conference of South Island Seventh-day Adventist ministers will open in Christchurch this evening with a combined meeting of city churches in the Repertory Theatre. The opening address will be given by Pastor Roy Allan Anderson, of Washington, D.C. f Pastor Anderson, who is a world leader of the Adventist church, is ministerial association secretary of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Another overseas speaker at the conference will be Pastor J. J. Denver, secretary-treasurer of the BismarkSolomon Islands Union Mission of Seventh-day Adventists, with headquarters at Rabaul, New Britain.
