NEGATIVE SWABS The Avondale Jockey Club advises that all swabs taken at its autumn meeting proved negative. The horses swabbed were Regal Dancer, Brown Grouse, Probator, Our Bruce, Peter Boy, Corolu, Jack’s Count, and Rare Charm. The Nelson Jockey Club has been advised by the New Zealand Racing Conference that swabs taken from Minnie Mouse, Aer Lingus, and Sleipmr at the Nelson meeting were negative. No report was received by the club oh the swab taken from Cups, winner of the Richmond Handicap on the second day. The secretary of the Woodville District Jockey Club has advised that the swabs

taken from Mary Tudor and Gonfannon at the autumn meeting proved negative. The routine swab taken of Tricorne, winner of the E. J. Harvey Handicap on the second day of the Marlborough Racing Club’s recent meeting, was negative, the New Zealand Racing Conference had advised the club.
