Conference Of Big Four
(Rec. 12.10 sum.) PARIS. May 20. The French Foreign Minister, Mr Antoine Pinay, said in a television broadcast last night that the Big Four “at the summit” conference might not be a last chance but the beginning of a long haul. “We must not forget that the Soviet proposals on disarmament are intermingled with political proposals concerning Germany and Europe which give rise to serious objections,” he said.
“We shall trv to untangle this. It will be difficult but-1 am sure that in the present atmosphere we can hope for positive results.”
