NEW MICROSCOPE DEVELOPED
Canterbury Graduate’s Research SPECIMENS VIEWED ON TELEVISION SCREEN The development of a "flying-spot microscope by which specimen slides can be, magnified for viewing on a 17inch television screen was the subject of a thesis on which Mr K. E. Tait was awarded a bachelor’s degree with honours in electrical engineering at Canterbury University College. This is the first unit of its kind made in New Zealand, and it has been demonstrated m the analysis of microscopic slides, such as blood testing, mtd m classroom instruction. Mr J K.
