BUILDERS TO MOVE TO RICCARTON BOTH BUSINESSES TO BE CONTINUED The Riccarton Timber Company, Ltd., of 33 Riccarton road, has been bought by J. and W. Jamieson, Ltd., building contractors, at a price believed to exceed £35,000. The purchasers intend to move their business, at present conducted at 573 Colombo street, to the Riccarton site, and to carry on the timber company’s business, although it will be secondary to their own building contracting. It is the intention of Jamiesons’ to sell the Colombo street property. There is a short frontage on Colombo street, but a large area off the main street.
