New Zealand Art.— The Canterbury Society of Arts has decided to close its exhibition of New Zealand art after May 1. The secretary (Mr W. S. Baverstock) said that more than 1500 of the public besides hundreds of school children and members of the society so far had visited the show which this year had caused considerable discussion with its work from all parts of New Zealand. He hoped many more would attend before the unusual collection was dispersed.
