CANADIAN STATESMEN VISIT WOOLLEN MILL—The Deputy-Prime Minister of Canada (Mr C. D. Howe), who is also the Minister of Trade and Commerce and Minister of Defence Production in the Canadian Government, visited the Kaiapoi Woollen Manufacturing Company’s mill at Kaiapoi yesterday. With him on his visit to New Zealand is Mr W. F. Bull, Deputy-Minister of Trade and Commerce in Canada. They are shown inspecting one of the mill machines, guided by Mr G. G. Greenwood, the mill manager.
