A MOBILE MASS MINIATURE X-RAY UNIT, which will be used by the Health Department in its campaign to eradicate tuberculosis, being unloaded from the Wairata at Lyttelton, yesterday. The unit will be used in the rural districts of Canterbury and the West Coast, it is the first to be operated by the Health Department in New Zealand, though a similar unit has been used in Taranaki for some time among the Maoris.
