Growth of New Plymouth
The growth of the city of New Plymouth to the west is recognised by a provisional scheme for the inclusion of 125 acres of the Taranaki County m the boundaries of the city, according to an announcement by the Local Government Commission. The area, which is Generally to the west of the present city boundaries, has been one of vigorous housing development since the war. Application for the transfer of the land was made by the city with agreement by the Taranaki County Council.
