FOR SANCTION OF LOAN. NOTICE is hereby given that the Geraldine Borough Council proposes at its meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 10, 1955, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for sanction to the borrowing of a sum of £9500 for the purpose of providing the area known as Raukapuka with a complete water reticulation system with 4in mains and adequate fire-fighting facilities on the following conditions:— 1. The amount of the Loan shall be £9500. 2. The term of the loan shall be’ 25 years, but for a term of 10 years ih the first place. 3. The interest on the loan shall be 4 per cent.

4. The aecurity rate to meet the loan charges will foe 7s 6d in the £ on the rateable unimproved value of all that area known as Raukapuka in the Borough of Geraldine. It is proposed that a special rating area comprising Raukapuka be constituted which lands are described in the First Schedule of the New Zealand Gazette No. 63, dated September 25, 1952, page 1606/ Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Geraldine Borough Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Parnassus Rabbit Board has by Resolution dated the 7th day of April, 1955, classified all the land in its district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing on April 1, 1955, and ending on March 31, 1956.
