VICTORIA COLLEGE APPOINTMENT “The Press” Special Service
■ WELLINGTON. April 5. The Victoria University College Council has appointed Mr R. S. Milne, of Bristol University, as professor in charge of the School of Political Science and Public Administration. The v ? c aP c t arose through the resignation of Mr R. S. Parker, who left the tolto take up a readership at the Australian National University Mr Milne was an exhibitioner at Ohio State University, having been awarded a Fulbright grant to make this visit.
Mr Milne served with the British Army from 1940 to 1946, first in the Royal Artillery, where he rose to the yank .of. At the end of hostilities in 1945 he .served in the Military Government Commission for Germany.
