Nalder Memorial Handicap: Flywheel and Lynberne, Pocket Raider and Tarzan Grattan, Beautiful Dreamer and Belair. , START OF PACING STAKES INQUIRY CONCLUDED The inquiry into the starting of the New Zealand Pacing Stakes at the New Zealand Metropolitan Club’s meeting on April 2 at Addington has now been concluded. It has been established that the horses handicapped to start off the 24 yards mark did in fact start off the 12 yards An objection lodged against the third pc sition in that race being awarded to Santa Amada, which was handicapped on 34 yards, has been sustained, and this horse, together with all the other horses which started off the wrong mark, have been disqualified for the race under Rule 273 of the Rules of Trotting. The third position has now been awarded to Malabella and Lady Vai. which dead-heated for fourth; and the fourth position to Lady Belmer, which finished fifth. No action has been taken against the drivers of the horses concerned. .
