THORNTON WILDER PLAY

REPERTORY SOCIETY’S PRODUCTION

“Our Town” has been selected by the Canterbury Repertory Theatre Society as its second major production this year. It will be presented at the Repertory Theatre from April 15 to April 23 This play is expected to be of particular interest, as the society has presented very little American drama. The author, Thornton Wilder, is one of America’s leading dramatists, and the play is now world famous, not only for its moving and human qualities, but also for its device of presentation which enables the author to give a comprehensive view of the history and the life of a small American town.

A very large cast will take part in the production of “Our Town.” Frank Newman is the producer.
