CORSO APPEAL
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 18. Voluntary donations of £10,750 had been received towards this year's target of £60,000. before the appeal was officially begun. This was stated at a recent meeting of the executive of the Council of Organisations for Relief Services Overseas. A grant was approved towards equipment for a hospital in the Deccan, and an allocation of milk powder is to be sent to a Bombay social welfare group.
