CHURCH OF ENGLAND SYNOD
STANDING COMMISSION ELECTED (New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER, March 18. The following were elected to office on the standing commission of the Church of the Province of New Zealand, at the flrial session of the General Synod in Napier yesterday afternoon:—Canon W. W. Curzon-Siggers (Dunedin), Messrs E. C. Champion (Christchurch), E. P. Wills (Christchurch), S. T. C. Sprott (Wellington), and J. T. Dawson (Dunedin).
The following were elected to the provincial committee on public and
social affairs: the Rt Rev. J. T. Holland (Bishop of Waikato), the Rt. Rev ?’ uj Hlch (Wellington), the Ven. Archdeacon S. F. N. Waymouth (Hawkes Bay), the Very Rev. E A Gowing (Dean of Nelson), the Ven.' Archdeacon G. M. McKenzie (Wairarapa), Messrs J. Snell (Wellington). R. M. Woods (Auckland), G C Sandston (Christchurch), E. J. Suttori (all of wSington). and C ‘ M ' Bowden
