AUSTRALIAN PARTY’S TOUR
VISIT TO CHRISTCHURCH BEGINS TODAY
A party of 30 Australian bowlers will arrive in Christchurch from Timaru today on their last stage of a New Zealand tour. This afternoon they will be the guests of Sir John McKenzie at afternoon tea at ‘‘Roydon Lodge,” Yaldhurst. Tomorrow morning they will be accorded a reception at the St. Albans Bowling Club, and then will play games against Christchurch players. In the afternoon the Australians will visit the Disabled Servicemen’s Training Centre at Riccarton, and will .then participate in further games on the Disabled Servicemen’s Club green.
' Some of the party will fly back to Australia on Friday, and the others will leave by air on Monday. Many members of the party are accompanied by their wives. The visitors are:—
