NOTICE is hereby given that atja Special Meeting of the Christchurch Transport Board, held on the 31st day of January, 1955, the following resolution was passed, and that it will be submitted for confirmation at an ordfruyv meeting of the board, to be held on Mon day, the 28th February, 1955, at 2 pjn. in the Board Room, Cathedral square Christchurch. THEREFORE the Christchurch Transport Board, in pursuance and exefebe of the powers vested in it in that tahalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926.” the Christchurch Transport Rottd hereby resolved by way of Special Oreei as follows: g (I) That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of £102,000 authorised as the fourth portion of the Modernisation Loan, 1950, £950,000, to be raised by the Christchurch Transport Board under “The Local Bodies Loans . Act, UM," for the purpose of modernisation of the undertaking by -conversion to Omnibuses, the said Christchurch Transport Board hereby makes ano; levies a special rate of decimal nought, three, one, one, nought, nine, two pence (.0311092d) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the hasu of capital value) of all rateable property of the Christchurch Transport District, which comprises the whole of the City of Christchurch and the Borough of Riccarton and parts of the Counties of HalswelL Heathcote, Paparua, and Waimairi, as defined in the schedule to the Christchurch Tramway District Act, 1920, as amended by Sub-section 3 of Section 9 of the Christchurch Tramway Dis- ' trict Amendment Act, 1932-33, and that such special rate shall be aw an nual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the Ist day of February In each and every year during thrtWiS rency of such loan, being & pstioll of 15 years, or until the loafe is fully piad off.
