Men’s Medley Record Broken TITLE-HOLDERS BEATEN

Jarvis (Otago) also won his second title in the men’s 440yds. He anm beat J. Hamilton (Wellington), title-holder, who was second nettiv three lengths behind. Miss R. Currie (Otago) touched oa, a split second before the junior 220 yd« champion. Miss L. Orbell (Southland) in the final of the women’s Myds breaststroke championship. At m stage were these two separated k, more than a yard, and for a mount it seemed that Miss Orbell might win. Miss Currie’s time was Msec outside her record of 3min 7.4 sec.
