Engineers Inspect Harbour.—Lyttelton Harbour was inspected yesterday afternoon by harbour engineers attending the engineers’ conference in Christchurch. The engineers were from the Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Nelson, Otago, and Bluff harbours. They were shown all parts of the harbour by Mr J. A. Cashin, chief engineer of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, who also outlined the proposals for the harbour extensions and improvements.
