Renault car which I purchased from you, I cannot speak too highly of the performance of the car. , . “Starting our journey from Christchurch, my sister; friend, and myself, with complete camping equipment, which was on the luggage carrier, with suitcases. etc., journeyed, to Nelson via Kaikoura, Blenheim, Picton, the Grove track, then toured the Nelson districts, including Motueka, Kaiteriteri Beach, etc. We went to Westport via Buller Gorge, the road in some places being under repairs, and we returned to Greymouth from Denniston by the Coast road then on to Hokitika, Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. We also visited the lakes in these districts and returned to Christchurch via the Lewis Pass. “The road in places was mountainous, but the engine never faltered once, and we were agreeably surprised at the wonderful hill-climbing capabilities of toe Renault, and also the riding comfort made possible by the independent suspension. We negotiated safely some deep water courses. Considering the mountainous nature of the tour, the petrol consumption worked out quite well at 49 m.p.g. “My sister and I took turns at driving, and we can thorough!- recommend this car to lady drivers for case of handling and reliability.
