SCHOOLGIRL FATALLY INJURED STRUCK BY CAR AFTER ALIGHTING FROM BUS (New Zealand Press Association) NAPIER. February 16. Heather Wilcox, aged 5. of Franklin road, Pakowhai, was fatally injured when she was struck by a car about 5.30 p.m. today, after she had alighted from a school bus. MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED A youth was injured when his motorcycle was involved ,in a collision with a van at the corner of Randall and Petrie streets yesterday morning. He is George Robert, of 18 Khyber place, Shirley. Mr Robert was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital and admitted at 7.25 a.m. with head injuries. His condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
