British Party For Kanchenjunga

(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, February 13. The British Himalayan expedition, which will attempt a reconnaissance of Kanchenjunga, left Liverpool yesterday. The nine-man party is led by Dr. Charles Evans, who was a member of Sir John Hunt’s successful Everest expedition. Kanchenjunga (28,146 ft is the highest unclimbed mountain in the world.
