SEA CADETS FROM FOUR SCHOOLS IN TRAINING AT LYTTELTON.—Photographs taken yesterday afternoon at H.M.N.Z.S. Tasman, where about 100 sea cadets from Christ’s College, the Christchurch Boys’ High School, St. Andrew’s College, and the Christchurch Technical College are receiving a course of training, (1) Making fast the head rope on board a motor launch of the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve. (2) A Christ’s College crew taking part in a time race across the harbour. (3) Compass instruction. (4) Shore leave. After a week in barracks, the boys will be given a week’s sea training.
