THE STAINED GLASS WINDOW TO BE INSTALLED IN ELY CATHEDRAL by the Royal Air Force in honour and memory of the British Commonwealth and Allied airmen of No. 2, 3, 8, and 100 Groups of Bomber Command who served in the Ely district during the 1939-45 war. The badge of the Royal New Zealand Air Force is incorporated in the design of the window, which, it is proposed, should, be unveiled on Remembrance Day next November. New Zealand aircrew served in all groups of Bomber Command.
