INCREASED INTEREST IN NUDISM
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 24. Increasing numbers of Aucklanders are becoming interested in nudism. The president of an Auckland club said today that about 25 inquiries—many in reply to newspaper advertisements —had been made since the third New Zealand convention was given publicity early this month. . About half of those interested would become nudists, he said. Some would prove unsuitable and others would lose interest before actually joining. The president added that the two Auckland clubs, who share the same bush-covered site, were to develop more of the 16 acres to provide tennis and other games courts. They already have a swimming pool. There are about 30 members in the committee-organised club, and 20 in the proprietary club.
