Women’s Skating Record.—Tamara Rylova set a new world record In winning the Soviet women’s speed skating championship at Alma Ata today, with 203.92-points, according to the Soviet news agency, Tass. The previous record, as yet unratified, was established by Khalida Schegoleeva (Russia) last year with 203.323 points for the four events—the 500, 1000, 3000 and 5000 metres.—London, January 23.
