Indian Salute To Tito

(NZ. Press Association —Copyright) MADRAS, January 21. A military coastal battery in Madras fired a 21 gun salute to President Tito at Jugoslavia who arrived today by sea from Burma to resume his State visit to India. President Tito, who spent 11 days in Burma, will attend the diamond jubilee session of the Indian National Congress opening today at Avadi, near Madras and leave tonight for Bangalore, 180 miles west of Madras. He will sail for home from Cochin, on the south-west coast, next Tuesday. In 'Paris the French Foreign Office said today, that the French Prime Minister (Mr Pierre Mendes-France) will invite Marshal Tito, to make an official visit to France.
