Jet Aircraft for Japan.— The Japanese Defence Force received the first instalment of 59 aircraft under the mutual Defence Assistance Programme at - Tachikawa air base last night, according to the Tokyo correspondent of “The Times.” The instalment comptised eight jet aircraft, 35 pistonengined trainers, and 16 C 46 transports. —London, January 21.
