Minor Fires.— There were two minor fires in Christchurch yesterday, both attended by one unit from the St. Albans Fire Brigade. At 10.41 a.m. the brigade answered a call chimney fire at a house at 849 Colombo street, occupied by Mrs K. Robins. There was no damage. The second call, at 2.34 p.m., was to an oven fire at a house at 156 Waimairi road, occupied by Mr W. S. Graham. It also caused no damage.
