fN.Z. Army Information Service) TOKYO, November 7.

The United States Bth Army Commander (General Maxwell D. Taylor) said today the 16th Field Regiment of the New Zealand Artillery was preparing for departure from Korea after four years of service with the Bth Army in Korea.

General Taylor said in a letter of appreciation: “The New Zealand artillery has earned the respect of the Bth Army by its professional excellence and high military standards.” The date for the regiment’s departure was not announced.
