REMEMBRANCE OF WAR DEAD Press Association-r-Copyright) LONDON, Nov. 7. Queen Elizabeth joined 6000 former servicemen and women last night in paying a tribute to the fallen in two world wars. She attended a festival of remembrance sponsored by the British Legion. The audience, which filled the Royal Albert Hall, rose and sang three verses of the National Anthem as the Oueen. a slender figure dressed in black, mu tered the Royal box. She was accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Duke of Gloucester, and Princess Margaret, who also wore black with touches of white in hefr hat.

Colourful displays were put on by the fighting services. ,
