Investment Made By British Firm (From tho London Correspondent of "The Press") LONDON, Oct. 26. When Albert E. Heed, Ltd., invested £1,500,000 in the New Zealand Tasman Pulp and Paper Company recently. that giant organisation made its fifth such deal in the last five months. The total of these negotiations amounted to something like £6,000,000. Reed’s £1 shares, now standing at Ills 3d, have more than doubled in the last 12 months. The deal was described in the “Daily Express” as: “Bigger and bigger grows the paper pile of Albert E. Reed, the pulp and newsprint giant mastered by the ‘Daily Mirror’ and ’Sunday Pictorial’ newspapers. ...”
