In the half-year ended 30, 2239 new estates and funds valued at £6,606,811 were' entrusted to the Public Trustee for administration. “These figures in both cases are records," said the Minister in charge of the Public Trust Office (Mr J. R. Marshall) today. During the same period 4358 persons made wills appointing the Public Trustee their executor, bringing the total number of wills held to 163,349, the highest total to date, said the Minister. A further 3717 wills already held were revised.
