The British Medical Journal declared todfly that horror comics were obscene. The journal said: “No family doctor and none of those who take part in the mfeny services directed to bring up the young as decent citizens can remain indifferent to these attempts to present to the minds of readers scenes of horror, terror and unbridled violence.”—London, October 28.
