SCHOOLBOYS’ ftBLAY RACE The West Lyttelton team won the' annual schools’ relay race held at Heathcote for the Dromgoole Memorial Cup. The course was a mße and a quarter, starting and finishing at the Heathcote School gates. The teams and placin’s were as follows: West Lyttelton (C. Brownlee, J. Dailey, R. Tikao, P. Rafferty, V. Lowe) 1; Lyttelton Main School (K. Groom. I, Miller. R. Dawson, G. Mills, R. Shields) 2: Lyttelton Main School (S. Jam, R. Stechman, B. Vare, W. Ross. G.: Jones) 3; Lyttelton Main School (Bl Porteous, R. Auld, B. Arthur, R. Adams, D. Hawkins) 4; Heathcote (D. Collier, B. Hurrell, R. Hedgman, B. Mintrom, W. Petrie) 5; St. Joseph’s (K. Moore, J. Wilson, D. Fitzgerald, D. Cummusky, M; Morgan) 6. The trophy was presented to the winning team by Mr G. Ogilvy; chairman of the Heathcote School Committee. .■ AL
