WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast is:— Moderate northerly winds; weather fair at first, but becoming cloudy later; moderate temperatures. Outlook for Sunday: some showers. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather in Christchurch yesterday was fine and sunny, with a moderate northeast wind. The maximum temperature was 60.7 degrees. At midnight, the sky was clear, and a moderate easterly wind was blowing- The temperature was 50.4 degrees. The barometer, at 29.99 inches (1015.5 millibars), was falling steadily.
