Christchurch Gas continued their downward trend in sales and sellers at 18s 6d, and sellers for the con- g tributings further lowered their limits to i 8s 6d without attracting buying support, p More sellers, a number of them unsup- e ported, appeared among the loan and f agency stocks. The recent revival in in- p terest in Dalgety’s issues did not appear c to be sustained, but National Mortgage A F still had strong support, whilst Wright, Stephenson’s 10s paids remained, too, in keen demand at 28s—sellers Is away. Most of the day’s slender turnover was c in rights. Those to the Broken Hill issue e were steady in dealings and sellers at 6s 7d, although one small parcel changed hands at 6s Bd. Ross and Glendining rights weakened further to sales ana j sellers at ss. Aulsebrcoks remained firm in light trading at 2s, and at the close t the market was bare of sellers. - Less interest was shown in Tasman c Pulp shares paid to ss.
