Racing experts expect the Quen’s colt, tO T * do xY cry . well the Washington International, at Laurel Park, Maryland, on November 3, in spite of his disappointing run this week in the Old Rowley Stakes at Newmarket, when he nnisheri last of four runners. The International race will be run on a Bhar P- turning course, of the type on whicsh LSndBU has shown his best form. Landau has never shown good form at Newmarket. Tbe Eclipse Stakes winner. King of the Tudors, will also cross the Atlantic for the race, as well as the Irish Derby winner, Zarathustra. Invitatibns to France will be made after the running of the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe on Sunday. It is understood that the Queen’s racing manager, Captain Charles Moore, declined an offer from America to allow Landau to be galloped over the Laurel Park track ?ta few da y® before the race, so that, if did not satisfy, he could be withdrawn from the contest.
