ORDNANCE DEPOT CRICKETERS
TRENTHAM TEAM TO TOUR AUSTRALIA (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 14. A cricket team representing the Main Ordnance Depot, Trentham, will tour Australia early next year, and will play five matches against Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps teams. The tour, which will begin on February 1 and end on March 7, has been orgaised entirely by the unit. The cricket club had had the support of the whole unit in raising the necessary funds. The touring party will consist of 16-' players of all ranks, who will be tak- j ing annual leave during the tour. |
