SEAMAN INVESTED WITH BRONZE MEDAL
(New Zealand Press Association, AUCKLAND, September 10. Before a parade cf the ship’s company, Stoker-Mechanic Peter Johnstone, of the Cruiser Black Prince, was today invested with the Humane Society of New Zealand’s Bronze Medal. The award was in recognition of Stoker-Mechanic Johnstone’s courage in rescuing a woman from Auckland harbour on the night of February 27.
