MAGISTRATE’S COURT AT RANGIORA

On a charge of being found on the licensed premises of the Cust Hotel after hours, offenders were convicted and fined £1 at a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court, Rangiora, before Mr Raymond Ferner, S.M., yesterday. For travelling at more than 30 miles an hour through restricted area, Kenneth Austin was fined £2. For using a private car for taxi work Thomas C. Hopkins was fined £l. For operating a vehicle without a heavy traffic licence Johannes Quint was fined £3 3s 43. Judgment Summons Case On a judgment summons,' Mrs H. Pitama was ordered to pay W. K. Nicholson the sum of £4 2s forthwith, in default five days* imprisonment.
